The special open-air boats that operate hop-on-hop-off tours along the Tiber River stop at five piers in Rome - Castel Sant’Angelo, Tiber Island (Isola Tiberina), Vatican City, Ponte Cavour and Ponte Margherita. After boarding, enjoy the views of Rome as you drift down the river, relax and listen to the recorded audio explaining what you’re seeing. Your 24-hour ticket allows you to get off the boat at any stop you like in order to explore, get back on board a later boat to continue your cruise. Hop off the boat at Tiber Island for a short walk to sights like the Colosseum and Roman Forum, or at Castel Sant’Angelo to see St. Peter’s Basilica and the rest of Vatican City. If you stay on board the boat for an entire loop, the trip lasts roughly one hour. Boats stop every half-hour at each pier.
From Tibery Island to Nenni Bridge and return.
Service runs from 10am to 6.30pm (first and last departure times from both Sant'Angelo and Tiber Island piers) with one boat every approx. 20/30 minutes at every embarkation point.
