Is this your first time in Rio? So this is the best choice for you to explore all the main "Carioca" wonders. During 8 hours, you will see the world known Christ, the Redeemer, being one of the firsts to get there, than straight to the Sugar Loaf, where you'll have an absolutely stunning view.Have a lunch break in Ipanema. In the afternoon, a lighter tour: you will visit the Maracanã stadium, Selaron stair case, with colorful tiles from around the globe; the Sambadrome, where our carnival magic happens every year, and much more. Round-trip transportation from selected Rio hotels is included.

After hotel pickup, you'll head to visit Corcovado Hill to see Brazil's greatest national icon – The Christ Redeemer Statue of Rio de Janeiro. On the way, you'll see Copacabana beach, Botafogo Soccer Club, Federal University, Guanabara Palace, the official residence of the State´s Governor, Fluminense Soccer Club and São Judas Tadeu Church. You'll then reach Tijuca Forest and stop at Paineiras to board the vehicles of the National Park Authority. The visit to the monument lasts around 45 minutes. After this visit, you will go to the almost centenary Sugar Loaf cable-car station (the first service in South America and the world´s third oldest). On the way, you will see the Yacht Club, Institute Benjamim Constant, for the blind and the National Institute for Mineral Resources. Visit Urca Hill (200m or 656 ft) and Sugar Loaf (395m or 1296 ft) and stay around 30 minutes at the top of Sugar Loaf. Afterwards, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy lunch at a Churrascaria or eat light and enjoy Ipanema square. Continue the tour with a panoramic visit of Maracanã Stadium. You'll then make a stop at Bellini´s statue and a stop at the Sambadrome (the stadium for the city´s main Carnival parade). Continue the tour with a visit to the cone-shaped Metropolitan Cathedral, not only one of the Brazilian city`s landmarks, but also a masterpiece of modern art.
Then, visit the bohemian neighborhood of Lapa, the Escadaria Selarón – one of the most fascinating and original staircases in the world. See the São Bento Monastery, which has been compared to a museum, and has a monastic simplicity making it one of the most beautiful architectural complexes in Brazil. On the way back, along Aterro do Flamengo, you'll see the Museum of Modern Art, the Monument to the Fallen in World War II, the Church of the Outeiro da Glória, the beaches of Flamengo and Botafogo and return to hotels via Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon.

This tour was great! I saw everything I wanted to see in Rio in one day. My tour guide was informative and tried his best to keep the larger group on a schedule so that we could still get everything in. I would recommend this tour if you want to see all the famous landmarks all in one day.

This was a really awesome experience! My family and I got to see all the sights of Rio in one day! The tour guide Kiko was awesome. He and his team made sure we had no issues. A person in my party uses a wheelchair for mobility. They made sure everything was always accessible! We couldn't have asked for more.
