A 11 Days Safari taking you to the finest National Parks of Kenya and Tanzania. Start with Amboseli National park on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro famous for its spectaculat landscapes and huge herds of African Elelphants. Cross the border, enter into Tanzania. Visit Ngorongoro crater a Unesco world Heritage site and the the largest intact caldera in the world which shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens anywhere. Visit The Great Serengeti, home to the big five and Annual wildebeest migration. Visit the world famous Masai Mara National Park, where the great migration takes place between July to October. Track the wild cats and other plain animals in action in the endless savannah grasslands in the Mara. Lastly witness millions of Flamingoes in Lake Nakuru along with Rhinos and other game animals before you arrive in Nairobi.
Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi - Amboseli National Park
Meet and greet at Nairobi, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by representatives upon your arrival and receive a briefing about your safari to get a clear picture of what to expect. After the briefing, depart to Amboseli which is famous for its huge elephant herds at the foothill of the majestic Kilimanjaro. After lunch, depart for a rewarding afternoon game drive till evening.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park
Spend a full day within this beautiful reserve viewing wildlife, birds and enjoying the natural ecosystem that exists within this park as you view and photograph the scenic landscape which characterizes this park. Cultural visits to Maasai villages can also be organized at an extra cost.
Day 3: Amboseli - Nairobi -256 km/3-4h Nairobi - Samburu 385 km 4-5h
06:30 Hrs morning coffee, full breakfast and we depart for Samburu. From Nairobi we travel north skirting the jagged peak of mount Kenya en route to the dry ochre plains of Samburu land. Green hills and fertile countryside gradually give away to more arid surroundings, as we descend into the northern frontier regions, we reach Samburu in time for lunch and quick swim in the pool at the sarova shaba Sopa lodge. A little later in the afternoon we set out on our first game drive. The picturesque Ewaso Nyiro river flow, along the southern border of the park and attract elephants, lions and variety of antelope. Whilst the trees along the rier banks conceal a sizable leopard population. We return to the lodge for dinner. Meals included 1 breakfast, 1 lunch, 1 dinner. Overnight at Samburu Sopa lodge /Serena /Simba lodge or similar luxury tented camp.
Day 4: Samburu Game Reserve - Nakuru - Naivasha
Samburu is a delightful reserve and region of dry and savannah scrub land with impressive range of hills in the backgrounds at supports an excellent variety of animals including beautyful Grevy's Zebra, reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx (similar to gemsbok) and graceful gerenuck. There is also a sizeable elephnat population and it is not uncommon to see family groups down by the river where crocodile may also be observed lurking in the shallow.
Early in the morning game drive followed by breakfast and we depart. Driving time approx 4 hours returning along the shoulder of mount Kenya where there are often good views of the twin snow scapped peaks, we drie across the great rift valley toward Nakuru. We arrive in time for late lunch at our cozy tented camp. Lunches and afternoon game drive till dusk.
We exit the park and drive to Naivasha where we stay overnight at Sawela Lodge, Naivasha Country Club or Kiboko Luxury Camp.
Day 5 : Naivasha - MAsai Mara 320 km/4 hours
Lake Naivasha - the highest of all the rift valley lakes. Lake Naivasha is a beautiful shallow fresh water like fringled by thick papyrus reeds. The water of teh lake draw great array of the bird life to its shoreline. Buffalo wallow in the swamps, whilst the large hippo population laze their days in the shallows. Giraffe wander among the acacia, whilst the colobus monkey swing from the green canopies above. From here, you can visit Elsamere crescent island game sanctuary, have one hour ride in the lake Naivasha or hells gate national park.
We proceed descending the great rift valley floor. We reach arguably Kenyas most celebrated natural attractions - the Masai Mara game reserve. A 1500 sq km slab of open savannah doted with acacia tree. The Kenyan section of the wildly beautiful Serengeti plains teems with wildlife. Being in the Mara has been described by some authorities as "being in New York of natural world ".
Arrival in time of lunch. Dinner and overnight at OI Tome Mara Chui luxury camps.
Day 6: Mara - Serengeti
Early in the morning game drive in the Mara. After breakfast depart for Nairobi. We will make a brief stop at the administrative town of Narok for your chance to sip a cup of coffee or browse for the souvenirs. Proceeding to Serengeti.
The Northern national park is true African experience and one of Tanzania 's main attractions. Here you will witness the great Serengeti migration, when million of wildebeest, gazelles and zebra roam the plains in search of food. The entire Tanzania ecosystem is on display here: birds, reptiles, mammals and the mighty savanna acacia trees. The park stretch across a varied landscape from wooded hills in the north to the southern grassy plains.
Day 7: Serengeti National Park Southern Areas - Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast we head back to Ngorongoro conservation area, UNESCO world heritage site situated in a 260 km wide volcano crater. Archaeology buffs and anyone interested in history have the option to stop at oldupai Gorge, where some of the earliest human remains have been found. The site was occupied by our genetic ancestors some two million years go and continues to offer clues about the orign of Homo sapiens. We can also pass by the Maasai boma for a test of real African culture and traditional living. After lunch, we keep exploring the Ngorongoro crater, venturing right up to the rim for dinner and overnight at Sopa lodge.
Day 8: Ngorongoro Conservation area to Manyara
After breakfast we take a packed lunch and head back to the crater. We detour through a traditional Maasai village, where you can get acquainted with the locals,watch some traditional dancing and see what life rely like on the African plains. From there we descend to the crater floor in search for more big game. The Ngorongoro crater is rich in Tanzania wildlife and November and December is the best time to see it. The short rainy season is over and animals come out in a big number to enjoy the fresh water and the green grass. We eat our packed lunches on crater floor at one of the several picnic sites near forest or hippos pool. If we are lucky we will spot the rare black rhinoceros. In the late afternoon we venture back up out of the crater and head onward to Manyara national park, where we send the night at Maramboi tented camp.
Day 9: Manyara National Park.
After forest start at 8am with a morning game drive at lake Manyara national park. The park covers 330 sq km 70 percentage of which occupied by the lake.The varied ecosystem consists of ground water forest, acacia woodland and open grassland along the lake shores and sustain a wealth of wildlife including the big five lions, elephant, leopard, rhino and buffalo. Park is famous for elusive trees, climbing lions that inhabit the woodland between the lake and the rift valley. It is also an ornithologist paradise and is host to over 400 species of birds. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire lodge.
Day 10: Tarangire National Park - Arusha
We save the best for last after breakfast we embark on our final game drive through the Tarangire national park. African elephant, the world's biggest mammals are very common in this area. The park is also dotted with the iconic baobab tree. Shrub like trees that can grow up to 30 m tall. After a full day of exploring Tarangire, later in the afternoon we head to Arusha for dinner and overnight.
Day 11: Tarangire National Park To Arusha To International Airport
To day is your last day at the mainland Tanzania, so be sure to grab any last minute souvenirs you may need before being transfer to the airport to catch flight back home.
