The trek to Ghorepani Poon Hill begins from Nayapul, which is a gateway of the Annapurna treks. The beginning trail is soft that passes some of the Gurung villages. With the steep ascend of Ulleri, the rhododendron dominated trail begins. The waterfalls, peaceful trail and a beautiful countryside persuade you to explore the sceneries. Poon Hill offers the miraculous sights of Mt. Annapurna I (8091m), II, III, IV, Dhaulagiri (8167m), Fishtail, Nilgiri, Himchuli and the surrounding peaks and the golden sunrise over these peaks. For this, the trip is also trendy as the Annapurna Sunrise Trek. The Ghorepani village, located just down on the Poon Hill, is a Magar community located between the rhododendron forest. The ethnic Gurung village of Ghanruk is a cultural village that wonderfully preserves the traditional pattern of cultural lifestyles. The 5 days Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking concludes in Nayapul with the exploration of the exquisiteness of the Annapurna conservation area.

Day 01 :Drive to Pokhara by tourist bus (6 hours) overnight at Pokhara hotel
From Kathmandu, we drive to Pokhara in the morning. Through the Prithvi Highway, the drive offers the sceneries near by the Trishuli and Marshyangdi River valley, green hillside and the terraced hillside. Then, transfer to the hotel. It is a city of Lakes and a wonderful place to see around. Overnight at Pokhara hotel.Day

02 :Drive to Nayapul and then trek to Tikhedhunga (1577m)
After the breakfast at the hotel, we drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, which takes about an hour. We begin to walk and after about 40 min. We reach to the check post and officially enter into the Annapurna Conservation Area project. We have an easy day to walk through the wide trail. The waterfalls at Bhurungdi Khola are amazing. Passing Hile, we steadily walk to Tikhedhunga. Overnight at lodge.

Day 03 :Trek to Ghorepani (2750 m)
The second day of the trek, we begin to walk from Tikhedhunga, passing some lodges. Crossing the suspension bridge, we climb through the stone paved steps, that are nose touching. The Ulleri village we reach after one and half hour and walk continually, we pass Banthanti. Then the isolated part begins through the rhododendron forest. Passing Nange Thanti, we reach to Ghorepani, a beautiful Magar village. Overnight at lodge.

Day 04 :Climb to Poon Hill (3200m) for great views of the Himalayas then trek to Tadapani.
Early in the morning, we climb up to the Poon Hill, which is about 45 minutes of steep climb up. The stunning Himalayan views of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Annapurna (8091m), Fishtail, Himchuli and the peaks nearby can be explored that changes into the golden color with the sunrise over those peaks. This is a precious moment to take photographs. Then we trek down to Ghorepani, have a breakfast and trek all the way to Tadapani through up and down trail via Deurali and Banthanti. Overnight at lodge.

Day 05 :Trek to Ghandruk (1940m) which is the historic ethnic village
After the breakfast at Tadapani, we begin to trek down through the rhododendron forest. First the trail is easy with flat landscape. After about half an hour, we begin to descend through the stone paved staircase. We reach to Bhaisikharka, a tiny community with some lodges. Walking further, we gradually reach to the Ghandruk village, which is a historic ethnic village with Gurung civilizations, preserving folk culture. We can visit the Gurung museum in the afternoon. Overnight at lodge.

Day 06 :Trek to Birethanti (1025m) and then drive back to Pokhara
From Ghandruk, we commence through the steep stone staircase. We pass Khimche, Syaulibazaar and walk steadily through the flat trail. We can see farmers working in their fields. Reaching Birethanti, we check out from ACAP counter and drive further 1 hour to Pokhara and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
