The Everest Himalaya Trekking one of the most scenic and popular adventure around Himalaya and probably on this planet, where you will be walking on the foot of world highest Mt. Everest at base camp, with an altitude of above 5,364 m high encircled by towering giant mountains and remorseless fields of ice and glacier with notorious tumbling huge blocks of Khumbu Ice-Falls.
The Himalaya Trekking start with short scenic flight to Lukla with its unique airstrip, to begin our wonderful adventure Everest Himalaya Trekking, as the walk leads to interesting Sherpa villages and at Namche Bazaar, the capital of Khumbu Sherpas here you can find various facilities from well-stocked stores-shops-many standard restaurants with café and fresh bakeries and as well post-office and banks.
After a pleasant time with rest days at Namche heading higher into enchanting alpine forest to reach famous and scenic Thyangboche Monastery surrounded with pristine woodland and mountain views with time visiting interesting monastery with young monks on prayer and religious activities, our journey continues heading much higher where tree declines to wild terrain of windswept landscapes, moraines, and glaciers on reaching our final destination at Everest Base Camp.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day 02: Fly to Lukla 2,830 m & trek to Phakding 2,640 m – 04 hrs.
Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m – 05 hrs.
Day 04: Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and excursion.
Day 05: Trek to Thyangboche 3,867 m – 05hrs.
Day 06: Trek to Dingboche 4,260 m – 05hrs.
Day 07: Rest day at Dingboche for acclimatization and excursion.
Day 08: Trek to Lobuche 4,930 m – 05 hrs.
Day 09: Trek to Gorak Shep 5,170 m and Everest Base Camp 5,364 m and return to Gorakshep – 06 hrs.
Day 10: Hike to Kalapathar 5,545 m trek to Pheriche 4,240m – 05 hrs.
Day 11: Trek to Thyangboche – 05 hrs.
Day 12: Trek to Monjo 2,860m – 06 hrs.
Day 13: Trek to Lukla – 04 hrs.
Day 14: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to respective hotels.
Day 15: International departure for homeward bound.
Insurance & Emergency Expenses:
We suggest that clients insure themselves against a comprehensive claim policy. Which should also include Helicopter Evacuation if necessary? Please note that all our trips do not include any rescue or evacuation expenses in emergencies.
Any Emergency arrangement required (by any means of transportation including chopper) other than regular straightforward tour/trekking itinerary service should be borne by the client themselves.
Equipment & Clothing:
Well, fitting, comfortable boots/shoes are to be preferred over training shoes and clothing will be required, for strong hot sun on the drive through the lower foothills to freezing temperatures at night in the higher region. Shorts, skirt or lightweight trousers are ideal in the heat of the day along with T-shirt, long-sleeved cotton shirts, and sun hat. During the evening and the higher altitudes warmers, clothing will be needed. When visiting monasteries and holy places. Short or half pants and short sleeves shirt should not be worn.
