Annapurna circuit trek is a popular classic trekking route among trekkers worldwide. Filled with magnificent views and mountain scenery, this adventurous 160–230 km hike around the majestic Annapurna massif located in the north-central part of Nepal, is the most preferred long distance trek in the world.
The trek starts from a low altitude and reaches a height of 5,416 meters at the Thorang La pass, the highest and most challenging pass of the trek. This splendid pass is the best spot on earth to view the sublime beauty of the mighty Himalayas. The trek also crosses two different river valleys encircling the Annapurna range.
Annapurna Circuit Trek begins at Beshisahar in the Marshyangdi river valley and ends up in the Kali Gandaki Gorge, the deepest gorge in the world. The scenic trail passes through paddy fields, sub-tropical forest, amazing waterfalls, huge cliffs and several villages. Lodges, teahouse accommodation and hygienic meals are all available along the trek.
Take the opportunity to meet different ethnic people, and learn about their culture and livelihoods. Manang Valley and Lower Mustang is influenced by Tibetan culture. You will also visit Muktinath, a famous Hindu and Buddhist temple.
Visitors will have magnificent views of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Machhepuchhre (6,993m), Manaslu (8,156m), Gangapurna (7,455m) and Tilicho peak (7,134m) around the circuit.
Day 01 : Kathmandu arrival and transfer to the hotel (1350m)
Our office representative will pick up you from the airport and transfer you to the hotel by tourist vehicle. After you rest, our guide will give you a short briefing about Annapurna circuit trek program and safety. Later, take a short walk around Thamel, an area famous for restaurants and bars.

Day 02 : Drive to Besisahar (760m) 7 hours
After breakfast, we take a drive to Beshishar. It is about 7 hours drive (185km) from Kathmandu valley. During our ride, we can observe the natural beauty and people's lifestyle along Prithvi highway.
Day 03 : Trek to Bahundanda (1300m) 6 hours
We begin our trek from Beshishar to Bahundanda after our breakfast. Bahundanda provides you with a scenic view of the Annapurna ranges, Khudi and Ngadi peak. The route goes up and down through sub-tropical forest and rice terraces. Walking further, we will cross a Khudi river with the help of a suspension bridge. The route offers you the beautiful view of waterfalls, pine forest and villages. Finally, we reach Bahundanda.
Day 04 : Trek to Jagat (1400m) 5 hours
We have our hot breakfast and start our trek for Jagat. The route goes through paddy and muddy fields observing hills, mountains and beautiful waterfalls. It is about 5 hours trek to Jagat. We will have our lunch on the way at Syange.
Day 05 : Trek to Dharapani (1960m) 7 hours
Today, we start our journey through off-road. We'll trek along the bank of Marshyandi river, where we will view waterfalls. Then, we will reach a beautiful valley called Taal, where we will have lunch. We'll enter the Manang district walking through barley rice, potato fields and pine forests and then reach to Dharapani, one of the biggest villages of Manang district.
Day 06 : Trek to Chhame (2630m) 5 hours
After our breakfast, we start our trek on an ascending trail along the mile track through a fir forest, higher peaks and maple trees. We will have awesome views of Manaslu, Lamjung Himal and Annapurna II. Then we will reach Chame, the district headquarters of Manang, where we can enjoy a hot spring bath.
Day 07 : Trek to Pisang (3200m) 6 hours
We will leave for Pisang after our breakfast. We will walk through buckwheat fields and apple orchards. Then we come up to a new trial of rocks lying on the side of the river which provides you with the view of Paungda Danda. Crossing rivers, ridges and wooden bridges we reach Pisang.
Day 08 : Trek to Manang (3540m) 6 hours
Today we walk through the valley floor via Hungde, observing the fields of Yak and a wide variety of crops. See spectacular views of Annapurna II, III IV, Gangapurna. Next, we reach Jharsang River and walk through pine forest to reach Khausar village, a Gurung village. We can see a small monastery, chortens, mani walls and prayer flags.
Day 09 : Acclimatization Day (Optional hike to Gangapurna lake)
We will stay one more day in Manang for acclimatization. Enjoy the beautiful views of greenery, mountains, chortens and monasteries. We can also explore the unique culture and lifestyle of the local people.
Day 10 : Trek to Ledar (4250m) 5 hours
The trek to Ledar offers many more memorable moments as you reach the apex of Annapurna circuit, crossing the famous high pass Thorong La (5,416m). After we cross the pass, we ascend a steep trail through Tenki Manang, leaving Myarshyandi valley behind. Walking along the Jarsang river, we will reach Yak Kharkha and then to Ledar.
Day 11 : Trek to Thorang Phedi (4420m) 4 hours
The trail continues through Throng Phedi along the bank of Jarsang river, where we may see a herd of mountain sheep. Then we will reach to Phedi.
Day 12 : Trek to Muktinath and visit Muktinath temple 9 hours
The trail takes many ups and downs today before we reach Muktinath. On the way, we can see the awesome views of Mount Gangapurna, Annapurna, Thorang peak and Khatung Kang peak. Then we will reach to Muktinath temple, a famous holy place for Hindu, Buddhist and many Tibetan peoples.
Day 13 : Trek to Jomsom via Lupra or Kagbeni (2600m) 5 hours
Today is the last day of the trek. We will move through a trail of Kagbeni or Lupra along Kali Gandaki River to reach Jomsom. Jomsom is a windy valley that can be cold! See the memorable views of Tilicho Mountain and beautiful wet hills.
Day 14 : Fly back to Pokhara (823m) 30 minutes
After breakfast, we'll head to the airport to catch a Pokhara flight (flight will depend on weather) or we can also take a local bus/ private van to reach Pokhara from Jomsom.
Day 15 : Drive back to Kathmandu 7 hours
After breakfast, you can take the tourist bus to Kathmandu or fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Day 16 : Departure Day
Today is your departure day, we will drop you at the International airport to catch your flight back home or onwards!
